Water separating fuel filter is used in both Mercury outboards and MerCruiser applications. NOT for use in 1992 MerCruiser 4.3L Gen II engines equipped with an in-line fuel filter. NOT for use in 1.6L Vazer engines. For gasoline use ONLY, the element will remove unwanted water from the fuel supply as it flows through the filter to the engine.
