Mercury racing lab finished 28 inch Tempest Plus propeller is designed for flats and bass boats hitting the rev-limiter running the stock 27 inch Tempest Plus(the 28 inch should reduce engine RPM 150 from the stock 27 inch). The hub kit is not included, order separately using Flo-Torq 835258K2 for 1 inch prop shaft or Flo-Torq 840389K06 for the Torque Master or Sport Master gearcase with a 1.25 inch prop shaft. The lab finishing process includes wedging the leading edge so the prop cuts into the water verses chopping; the blades are thinned in areas and the trailing cup height is modified.
